Mr. Castañón was an active member of Animal Heroes, A.C. where I he provided legal advice to the donoree in the tax treatment and defense of the animals.
Achievements:
In 2021, Mr. Castañón was awarded the Award from the Mexican Institute of Leaders of Excellence (IMELE) “for leadership, example and career in the country”, along with 2 two Ministers (SCJN), two2 Secretaries of State, 1 one governor, two2 legislators, and three3 renowned businessmen, among others.
In 2019 – and 2020, Mr. Castañón was selected two consecutive years to obtain the Chevening Scholarship, chosen among the 2% of more than 54 thousand applicants each year.
In 2019 – 2020, Mr. Castañón was selected by the Mexican government, through the Ministry of Public Education, among more than 3 thousand applicants from Mexico to be co-sponsored along with the British government in my master's degree at LSE, London.
2019 –In 2020, Mr. Castañón was accepted to study the master's degree in public policies in the United Kingdom at: The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE); University of Oxford; University of Cambridge; University College London (UCL); Kings College London; Edinburgh University; Warwick University; University of York; University of Bristol; and Leeds.
In 2017 Mr. Castañón was chosen by the U.N.A.M. Law School to be a judge of the interuniversity competition in Human Rights, Sergio García Ramírez, together with judges from the IACHR, the CNDH, the Legal Research Institute of U.N.A.M., etcamong others.
In 2014 – 2016, Mr. Castañón was elected to occupy the position of Proprietary University Counselor of the U.N.A.M.; I represented more than 350,000 students.
