The lawyers in our International Trade practice have experience in advising a wide variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, automotive, agricultural, food and beverage, electronics, among others.
International trade, including the regulation of antidumping and anti-subsidies that involve the defense of national producers, as well as importing and exporting companies of products to which it is intended to impose a countervailing duty for possible unfair foreign trade practices; for example, the importation of products under dumping conditions that cause or threaten to cause damage to domestic production or in the case of domestic producers, the defense of such companies, through the imposition of countervailing duties for such unfair practices.
Within Customs Law, we specialize in resolving all kinds of consultations involving requirements for importing and exporting any type of product, including tariff and non-tariff regulations and restrictions; for example, compliance with Mexican official standards, rules of origin, obtaining import permits, automatic import permits and the need or not to comply with countervailing duties on the import of products that are subject to them.For International Trade Agreements, we provide advice on regulatory issues related to the importation of all types of products, under the international treaties entered into between Mexico and other countries, such as compliance and defense of issues related to the rules of origin established in each of such treaties, tariff relief, among others.
